This is the time of year when the Archbishop appeals to all parishioners to support the ministries of the SF Archdiocese (AAA). These ministries are our investment in the mission of CHRIST. It provides support to parishes that need assistance in help the poor and marginalized of San Francisco. It also provides scholarships for those families who cannot afford the tuition to send their children to Catholic schools.

Furthermore, the AAA provides support for our Catholic seminary, St. Patrick’s, as well as the students that are committing their lives to becoming priests. It supplies chaplains for boththe fire and police departments, as well as hospitals and prisons.

All of these ministries will only grow if we support them by giving generously. It is our investment in the future of the Catholic church in San Francisco  I like to give back to the Lord for the graces and gifts I have personally received. Many will tell you that in giving, you will receive more than you give. And the Lord loves a cheerful giver!
