Monsignor Harry Schlitt, a Roman Catholic Priest for 52 years, is now retired. He left the Chancery Office three years ago as the Vicar General and Moderator of the Curia for the Archdiocese of San Francisco. He served in the office for 16 years, and was in residence with both Cardinal Levada and Archbishop Niederauer. Father Harry was ordained in Rome in 1964 at St. Peter’s Basilica in Rome.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sacred Theology from the Gregorian University in Rome; a Masters in Guidance and Counseling from the University of Missouri; a Doctorate in Humane Letters from Waynesburg University in Pennsylvania. Father Harry is the founder of God Squad Productions, a California not-for-profit that produces a weekly Catholic Mass on television .
He has just completed his first major book, a memoir, entitled I'LL NEVER TELL.
